Current Issues and Modern Media examines human nature and modern themes through a creative and critical lens. It examines the role technology and human nature plays in our lives and the role of the individual in sculpting the future of the planet.
The course draws upon modern media and classical texts to examine 21st Century culture and its citizens. Students will be challenged to find individual expression and voice through creative and academic challenges. Assessment will include both traditional methods and a personal portfolio that allows students to express individual ideas through a variety of strategies.
