Assignment:
- In a group of two or three, you will research the three branches of the federal government. Use the information in your textbook, this site or download this pamphlet as the basis of your project.
- Your group will be assigned either the 1)legislative branch or 2) executive branch of government, and you will write a detailed description of the duties and responsibilities of this branch.
- All groups will research the third, 3) judicial branch, and write a short summary describing their duties and responsibilities.
You will be provided with a large piece of poster paper on which to present your project.
Marks: This project is worth a total of 20 marks. Be sure to select carefully, the people with whom you are going to work, as all of the members of the group will get the same mark.
Marking criterion: content, grammar, and appearance.
