We have a window of opportunity to connect powerfully with our students and teachers.

But we need to:

1. embrace online resources as part of our holdings, not something ‘out there’, and
2. create an online presence for communicating and leading students to resources and as a key to teaching information literacy in this new realm.

I like to use the analogy of Alice’ s looking glass, to explain the world we inhabit when we stare deeply into our screens. It is a whole new realm, perhaps, joyful & quirky, but also painfully familiar.
