It’s about communication.

There’s a giver and a receiver; one person with a message, whether emotional, rational, spiritual or all three; and there’s a receiver.

It’s not about whether the message is on paper, or screen; or whether the medium is symbolic, visual or auditory.

The teacher-librarian is the go-between; and the profession, a honourable one.
