Your assignment is to produce an informative and visually appealing lesson aid which explains the significant aspects concerning the PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND INTELLECTUAL development of a child within a certain age group. You will be assigned the age group and, working with others in your group, design and create this educational tool.
Physical development includes gross and fine motor skills, hand-eye skills and any other motor milestones particular to this age.
Emotional and Social development pertains to interest and play level with others, expression of feelings, emotions (affection, anger, anxiety, etc.) and behaviors.
Intellectual development (AKA Cognitive development) can include language development, communication, purposeful action, use of tools and toys (age appropriate) and self awareness.
Please provide this information in a clear, concise manner which is easy to read and/or understand. Provide visuals and clearly label all supporting documents. Cite all materials used to find your information and include your group's names on the back. You will be allotted computer use time to research and gather information. Make the most of it!!
