This site has been created to help grade 12 history students and their teachers review for the
provincial exam. Narrated by the photojournalists who captured the historical images, these photographic "essays" make the study of history very easy indeed.
The Magnum In Motion online essays and podcasts add new dimensions to the traditional photographic narrative, using a combination of photos, audio, video, graphics, and interactivity.
Hundreds of thousands of still photographs of world events and personalities from the Spanish Civil War to the present day can be found easily with a word search ( e.g. Fascists in Italy)
BELOW: The visual essays and podcasts have been linked to the paragraphs of the History 12 IRP.
