19th Century Inventions Presentation
Your 5-10 minute presentation will include:
- A description of the life of inventor (early life, education, prior jobs, travel, etc.)
- An explanation of different ways people fulfilled a similar need before your invention
- An explanation of how the invention works
- An explanation of what effect this invention has had on people's lives
- Canadian Connection: either show how the invention has effected Canada by showing Canadian sources (Canadian documents or images) OR choose an invention that has a Canadian connection (inventor is Canadian, patented/tested in Canada)
A written summary of all of the above will also be handed in.
You will need to hand in a bibliography of at least 5 sources (Wikipedia doesn't count)
- Use BibMe and input as much information as possible (you must include the URL)
As part of your project you will publish your information in Wikispaces, Glogster, etc. and advertise this in your presentation.
