This project will be done in groups of NO MORE than 3. You may work on your own if you wish.
1) Choose one of the Global Issues topics for your project. Make sure that it is an issue you care/ feel strongly about. Scan these sites before deciding.

If you don't think you feel strongly about any of these, try this out.
1) Research and write a report on your topic. You should be able to explain:
a. The background and definition of the issue or problem
b. The different points of view on the issue
c. A case study of the effects of the issue on a country
d. The Solutions to the problem – what is being done or what should be done (read this terrific booklet)
e. Include a COMPLETE, formal bibliography for your research.
2) Based on your research, develop a message that you would like to send to the public. Create a proposal of how you will deliver your message to the public.
Examples: YouTube video; ad or article in a magazine/ newspaper; commercial on TV, documentary, awareness demonstration/campaign, theatrical stunt, banner drop
3) Once approved, complete your project.
