In groups of 3-4 you will create a pamphlet for the party of your choice. Your pamphlet needs to include the following:
1) Cover for your pamphlet (5 marks)
- should have the party’s name, slogan, and logo clearly on it
2) Outline of the history of your party and its political ideology (10 marks)
3) Profile of the leader of the party and a picture (5 marks)
4) Profile of the MP running in your constituency (5 marks)
5) Poll chart of the party’s popularity (5 marks)
6) Description of the party’s position and policy’s on the following issues: (5 marks each: 30 marks)
- Health care
- Education
- Environment
- Jobs & employment
- Law and order/ crime
- The economy
7) At least two (2) recent news stories about the party or candidate that may affect the public votes (hopefully in your favour). (see: Media list below)
- Describe how this article portrays the party.
- Assess how persuasive this article is in swaying your opinion. (15 marks)
8) Bibliography of ALL sources used (5marks) - Use Citation Machine
9) List of the responsibilities of each member (5 marks)
