You will create a poster illustrating:
how it evolved throughout time, including before, during and after its invention. You must provide information and images of how it looked and functioned while it evolved. A timeline might be helpful to include - see sites below.
You must answer the following questions, and will lose marks if you do not
include everything that is asked for, below, including:
- What was it?
- Who invented it?
- When was it invented?
- Why was it a revolutionary idea?
- How were things done before its invention?
- How did it contribute to the development of society at the time it was invented?
- (e.g. it speeded up production, so that more people could receive a
- communication message at one time.
- Does it exist today?
- In what form (e.g. ORIGINAL INVENTION: Telegraph - TODAY: Text messaging)?
- Is it very important to us today? In what way?
- Make a wild guess and predict how this invention might exist in the future.
